ACTIP - Animal Cell Technology Industrial Platform
ACTIP is an informal forum of European companies with significant activities in animal cell technology. Its objectives include networking and following cutting-edge developments in research and production related to animal cell technology. Collaborations with several (inter)national academic institutes are also initiated or pursued, predominantly in the fields of oncology and bioinformatics.
The BVF Platform aims to promote the development of biological safety in all aspects of the field. It wants to achieve that by being a venue for biological safety officers in the Netherlands.
EBE – European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises
EBE is the European trade association that represents biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes operating in Europe. Membership is open to all companies using biotechnology to discover, develop and bring new medicinal products to market. EBE is a specialized group of EFPIA, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations.
EBF - European Bioanalysis Forum
EBF holds over 50 member companies, all of which have bioanalytical lab activities in Europe. The goal of EBF is to bring these companies together and provide a platform to discuss science, day-to-day procedures, business tools, technologies and, last but not least, regulatory issues.
Synthon Biopharmaceuticals recently joined HollandBIO, the association for the Dutch biotech industry. HollandBIO represents over 150 companies in the biotech sector: from start-ups and small and medium-sized businesses to large companies active in health, food or biobased economy. Besides looking after the industry’s interests, HollandBIO’s activities comprise the organization of network events, membership services and PR.
