The information relates to your name and address details, gender, telephone number and email address, curriculum vitae and all data relating to your education (and grade lists), courses and internships followed and to the nature and content of your previous employment positions. If you provide additional personal data without having been asked to do so, you are, by doing so, giving Synthon permission to store this data and/or process it in any other way in the context of the application procedure.
This personal data will be processed on the basis of your permission and in preparation for any employment contract, and will only be used to assess whether or not you are suitable for the position for which the vacancy was placed, in the performance of the recruitment and selection procedure. In addition Synthon will, if necessary, use your data to contact you for further information and/or to invite you to an interview.
By sending the application form you agree to Synthon processing your personal data. If desired, your data can be retained for 12 months in the recruitment database. You must give permission for this by placing an additional tick on the application form.
Synthon takes suitable security measures to protect and secure your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against intentional loss, deletion or corruption. Your data is stored in secured environments that are only accessible to designated persons and not to the general public. Your data is not stored outside Europe. We make use of the services of Visma (www.visma.com) and have entered into a processing agreement with them to this end.
You also have the right to submit a request to Synthon to get a definitive answer as to whether Synthon processes your data and, if so, to gain access to this personal data. You can request Synthon to improve, supplement, remove or shield this personal data if your data is wrong, incomplete or unnecessary or if it is unlawfully processed. You also have the right to request a restriction in processing that relates to you, to object to a specific processing and to have your data transferred. You will receive a response from Synthon as soon as possible but in any event within one month from receipt of the request. It is possible that this period will be extended depending on the number of requests and their complexity. A rejection of your request will be substantiated. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority [Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens] about the processing of your personal data or the rejection by Synthon of your request, and to appeal to the court.
